The Easter Bunny Came!!!!

Jared was quite perplexed at how the Easter Bunny was going to fill his basket and hide the eggs! He even went to find his basket when Mom and Dad announced that they found a colorful treasure hiding outside. But, as you guessed his basket was no where to be found.

Here it is! How did it get here????

Don't ask us, we have no idea!

Papa Smurf, Papa Smurf

Any fans of Singles Ward will get a laugh at this.

The Easter Bunny found Smurfs for the girls for Easter.

"Papa Smurf, Papa Smurf, this came out of the balloon. It looks like a piece of the puzzle"

The Hunt Is On!

Easter had us out in the afternoon looking for those surprisingly colorful hidden treasures called Easter Eggs!

It was a bit windy, but not too cold!

Eggs were hidden in the most interesting places!

Snow Warm Enough To Play in....

Once the snow ended, we put on a couple of layers and went to play outside!

A snowball fight, a snow man....

Except for mom, who had a PJ day (and took a couple pictures).
And then Jared yelled out, "Anyone want hot cocoa?"

The Cat Tamer

Dad says there is a sign up to all stray cats that says, "If you come sit on our porch and look cute, Jared
feed you and take you in."

With that knowledge. We now have four cats, two dogs and a rabbit. We certainly are hoping that at least one of these animals goes with a child or two when they move out!

The most recent arrival came to us by living in our garage. She is sweet and easy mannered and most likely pregnant....yes you read that right. Oh well, what is childhood if it isn't pets, pets and more pets. We simply have a farm without living on one.

Mom Has Textbookitis!

Here is Chantel with her new glasses. Vern says they make her look smart.

She also got her hair cut fun and bouncy so she can wear her hair down for clinicals, which Cyrus says makes her look younger.

The Last Skate Day of the Year

Here are a few pictures of the last Homeschool skate day. You can tell it is warmer outside, as there is only sweatshirts..no heavy jackets. Now begins Homeschool swimming.
