A Week Later

There is still a lot of unpacking to do, and we still have things to put into storage,
but we are all together and enjoying each other's company! It is small, but filled
with love.

The girls room

You walk down the hallway to the back door and just past the laundry
is the girl's room. They were kind enough to let us put the food storage
shelves in their room :O)

Our New Home

Here we are on our first night. We pulled in after 10 hours of driving
at about 11pm at night. Didn't even have the energy to pull out the
beds and set them up.

Chantel was so proud of Vern and Victoria who along with her drove
the whole 10 hours with Vern driving the moving truck towing his care,
Chantel driving the van with the dogs and cats, and Victoria following behind.
This was the longest drive Victoria has ever made by herself and she did fabulous.

We arrived tired, but safely feeling blessed to all be together.

Vern Turns 40

Right in the middle of moving Vern turned 40!
The girls pulled off an amazing cake for him and Chantel
was able to make him a dinner of prime rib and yummy sides even with half
of the kitchen packed.

Happy Birthday Love!!!!

Our Last Windom Fishing Trip

Victoria, Cody and Chantel wanted to fish just one more time in
Minnesota, so on a very windy and sunny afternoon they took the poles and the worms
and went fishing. They didn't catch anything but sun and fun.
