Cody Sprains Her Ankle

Cody and Cyrus were trolling around the campgrounds taking pictures and having a wonderful time....that is until Cody jumped down from a picnic table and wrenched her right ankle.

Boy did she ever sprain it!

Not much gets Cody down, but when she goes down, she goes hard!

Luckily Mom RN was prepared and had the supplies to brace and wrap the ankle.

Some Ibuprofen, ice, elevation and a
lot of swelling later, here is what
it looked like when we got home.

Skipping Rocks on the Lake

Down from our camping site was a wonderful spot at the lake to skip rocks. It also seemed like a wonderful spot to fish.

Fishing started out well...see the wonderful logs to stand on!

We all took our poles, some worms and plunged them in.

In the midst of fishing, Jared caught Chantel's line on a floating log.

Chantel took the pole and reeled in the log.......and with the log came a snake...and NOT a little snake, a good sized snake...and not just any snake, but what looked like a Water Moccasin.

Chantel made the girl sound, jumped on the log and had to have
Vern and Cody help her back onto the bank.

Fishing was not that fun after that!
