Fort Madison and the Mayflies

Fort Madison is right on the Mississippi and the walls and buildings are layered with Mayflies during the summer. The guide said that if you hit the fence they would swarm you, so the kids and Vern did just that and Chantel took pictures of it all.

Vern got covered.
