Road Trip

We took a trip to Minnesota to see our favorite Tanners. Mom worked the night before so tried to sleep in the back seat while dad drove. Cody was the navigator, but also fell asleep for a little while.

Where Did We Date

After the big snow storm down here in Missouri Vern and Chantel went on an overnight date to Columbia. Vern had to keep reminding me we were in Missouri because of all of the snow!!!

Snowzilla 2011

The first picture was taken Sunday before the snow.


The ice started Monday morning and it rained or drizzled ice all day Monday.


The snow started just about 7am on Tuesday morning. It snowed 2-3 inches an hour for most of the day and into the night.

The second picture was about noon.

The third picture was taken about 2pm.

The last picture is about 7pm. We had shoveled twice already clearing the porch and walkway.

There is no place else to shovel the snow on the off of the porch....

Victoria and Cyrus went out to shovel and play in the snow. It was still snowing 1-2 inches an hour.
