In Beloved Memory of Jack Rabbit

Our Jack bunny passed away yesterday.

At almost 5 years old, he was a long lived bunny with a comfy life of pampering and warmth.

We will miss his happy personality and floppy ears!

Crash, Boom, Bang

These three pictures were taken within a minute of each other. I was outside taking pictures of the boys, snow and ice, and in one picture the window awning is there, and then crash, it was not! That awning must have been 60 years old, from the 1950 refurb of the house. We were very lucky that it did NOT break the window as it came down!

30 Degrees and a Lot of Snow

The weather has warmed up to 30 degrees, and it is time to go outside and play!
There is still A LOT of snow out there, and it is only mid January....

Jared is 10!!!!

Jared is 10! We celebrated his birthday at home, snowed in under a blizzard. To make up for being snowed in, we will be going to Mankato on Saturday for a family birthday trip! I hear he has chosen to eat at Hometown Buffet (really is a 10 year olds dream place to eat), and see The Squeakquel!

The Cake!!!

For Jared's birthday Cody made the cutest cake. With Mike N Ike and Lifesaver flowers, chocolate covered raisin boarder and chocolate gram cracker dirt for the neon gummy worms....it was a yummy, made from scratch, artistic creation!!!
