Our Holland is Baptized!

Holland chose to be baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
after her 8th birthday. For the Tanners it was their last child to be baptized. Vern and Chantel
felt the same way.

The After-Party

A lot of friends came for Holland's baptism and we were all very
happy for her on her special day!!!

Swimming at the Quarry

There is a man made lake without leeches made from an old quarry in Rochester .
We went there to cool off and have some fun!

Marta Goes Home to Espana

And July comes to an end and Marta goes back home
to her own family, leaving ours behind.

We miss her already!!!

Cooling Off With a Movie

After tag the kids cooled off watching a movie inside. All together!

Tag You're It

Tag in the Tanner's backyard. I don't know how they managed to have
so much fun, because it was really hot and muggy, but they had a blast!

Artistry in Faces

Cody wanted to design and her canvases were Victoria's and
Marta's faces.
Cody mentioned that she might like to take a class in
theater design and artistry. I think she would be
very good.

Marta is a Butterfly and Victoria is a Snake.

How to Keep Mosquitoes Away

When we want to spend time outside we light a fire to
keep mosquitoes away. Then we can spend time outside without
getting eaten alive!!!

Of course we introduced Marta to s'mores and she LOVED them!
