How to Hug a Chicken
Our rooster loves to be held. We named him Matty (started out Matilda...but changed once we found out he was a boy). He has a weak crow, and as long as it stays that way he can stay.....otherwise, we might have to eat him.
Kittens!
We had the opportunity to foster 3 little kittens who lost their mother at 8-10 days old. We cuddled them, bottle fed them, and loved them till they went to their new home.
The Strawberry
We traded Victoria's car in, gave Victoria the Saturn, and bought a Fiat. It is little, quick and is averaging 36 miles to the gallon in hilly Missouri.
And the boys look pretty cute in it.

The Game of Reading
Jared wanted a new game, but we told him he had to read one whole book first. So he read, out loud for 3 full days while awake, and even got his sister to read to him for a little while.
Wait....Where are we?
I have six years of pictures that look just like this...but that was in Minnesota. This is Missouri!
The snow was so wet and heavy that dozens of tree branches snapped just in our yard. One taking down the power line to our house.
What do you do with all of this snow? You build a snowman!
