Where the Green Things Grow

One thing you can depend on here in Minnesota is green things growing all around.

We have been mowing the lawn since April, the peas are growing, the strawberries
reddening, and lots of lettuce for eating!

Elder Correa Goes Home

After serving two years in the Sioux Falls Rapid City Mission, Elder Correa is
going back home to his family in California. He says he will be back here
to live, because he fell in love with the Midwest. He will be missed in our Branch.

Goslings

Do you see the baby goslings in the middle of the lake there? There are several
adults with them.

It REALLY Bugs Chantel

What in the world are these pictures of????
These are pictures of a gnat bite.

That is right a Gnat bite. Those little teeny tiny flies.
This is what happens when they bite Chantel.
This particular bite is on the back of her right knee.
First there is a little bump, then it swells to the size of a bagel.
The swelled part is hot, like it is runny a fever, and the skin is hard, so of course it
itches like crazy! Nothing so far takes it away except for Prednisone, and she is trying
hard not to have to use that this year.

After the swelling and heat start, then the redness starts to move up the vein line.
One on her wrist made it half way to her elbow, she got two on her neck and her
glands swelled to the size of marbles.

Think bug bites bother you???? Ouch!

Pioneer Cody

The youth are going on a trek for youth conference at Martin's Cove. They have to wear
pioneer clothing for the trek. Here is Cody's bonnet and apron. We will make two skirts
and maybe another apron for the trek.

Letting Off Some Steam

The kids were really, really, really good during the ceremonies!!! On the way home they let loose a bit and enjoyed themselves.
